What on Earth are a bunch of altos who attend a musical theatre choir supposed to do when there’s a karaoke concert featuring musical theatre songs on? They group book, of course! Which is why the altos of Worsley Sing Space could be found taking up most of a row at the Albert Halls in Bolton last night.
Man, this show was fun. Nothing to review, just an evening of belting out musical numbers from shows such as Les Mis and Phantom to Mamma Mia! and Frozen. The singers/band were absolutely incredible, a lot of fun, and hugely encouraging. We sang, we laughed, and then we sang some more. Some of us headbanged to that bit of Bohemian Rhapsody (sorry not sorry.)
